Job Description:
Office Manager Location: Full-time, onsite role in Sunbury, OH
Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year Job Overview: This role requires
a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support
various administrative and bookkeeping functions. The ideal
candidate will have strong clerical skills, office management
experience, and proficiency in QuickBooks. Success in this role
requires excellent communication, dependability, and the ability to
manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining
professionalism. Responsibilities of the Office Manager: Maintain
accurate financial records using QuickBooks. Process accounts
receivable, including invoicing, tax-exempt form management, and
collections follow-ups. Process accounts payable, ensuring vendor
payments and expenses are recorded and managed properly. Calculate,
submit, and pay monthly sales taxes. Reconcile payroll bank
statements and assist with financial reporting. Support year-end
accounting processes, including 1099 preparation and tax payments.
Supervise the Office Assistant, ensuring tasks such as reception,
mail processing, bank reconciliations, service ticket entry, AR
collections, and filing are completed accurately and timely. Manage
office supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships, including
returns and reconciliations. Assist with new hire onboarding and
benefits administration. Coordinate company events, travel
arrangements, and office-related purchases. Requirements of the
Office Manager: Associate's degree in Business or Accounting
preferred. 3 years of QuickBooks experience. Experience in office
management and bookkeeping. Strong understanding of general ledger,
chart of accounts, and proper accounting entries. Excellent
attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills.
