Month-End & Year-End Close: Oversee and execute month-end and year-end closing processes. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies. Audit Coordination: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and controls. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial operations. What We're Looking For in an Accountant: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Experience: 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP; familiarity with healthcare compliance a plus Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines Location & Compensation: Work Setting: On-site near Wooster, Ohio | Monday-Friday Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 based on experience Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and professional development opportunities accounting finance growth development
