Brief Overview /n Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care
to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist
them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health
status. /n What You Will Do /n /n - Implements the nursing process
by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. /n -
Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe
practice and positive care outcomes. /n - Demonstrates clear
communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care
and clinical operations. /n - Develops self and contributes to the

Additional Responsibilities /n /n - Performs other duties as

all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health
Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of
Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address
appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. /n Qualifications
Education /n /n - (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required) or
/n - (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required) /n /n Knowledge,
Skills, & Abilities /n /n - Knowledge of nursing process and
practice. (Required proficiency) /n - Uses a wide variety of
technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical
therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and
electronic monitoring devices. (Required proficiency) /n - Must
have strong written and verbal communication skills. (Required
proficiency) /n - Detail-oriented and organized, with good
analytical and problem solving ability. (Required proficiency) /n -
Demonstrated ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint
and general office equipment (Required proficiency) /n /n Licenses
and Certifications /n /n - Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi
State Compact License (Required Upon Hire) and /n - Basic Life
Support (BLS) (Required Upon Hire) /n - Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) may be required based on clinical area standards. /n
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required based on
