Accounting Assistant ABOUT THE COMPANY Established in the early 1950s as a local contractor, the company has expanded into a national operation Focuses on providing engineering, manufacturing, and installation services for various construction and industrial products Privately owned with decades of experience evolving from a local business into a recognized national provider in its field Headquartered in the Central Ohio, with multiple manufacturing locations across several states RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT: The Accounting Assistant will enter and maintain the company's fixed assets and budgets Process invoices in a timely manner Prepare journal entries for fixed assets The Accounting Assistant will assist with monthly closings Run reports for yearly appraisal information of asset additions and disposals QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT ROLE: Understanding of accounting principles The Accounting Assistant will possess strong attention to detail 1-3 years accounting experience Associates degree in accounting or business The Accounting Assistant will create spreadsheets in Excel and use intermediate formulas This position is fully on-site, 8:00-5:00.
