seeking a Corporate Tax Analyst to support a growing tax department
with a focus on U.S. indirect tax compliance, research, and process
improvement. This role is ideal for someone early in their tax
career who is eager to build expertise, contribute
cross-functionally, and grow into higher-level responsibilities
within a dynamic corporate environment. Position Overview The
Corporate Tax Analyst will assist with indirect tax return
preparation, taxability reviews, audit support, and data
reconciliation across multiple jurisdictions. You will collaborate
closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and external tax
advisors to ensure accurate and timely reporting while identifying
opportunities to strengthen compliance and streamline processes.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and file indirect tax returns (sales &
use, GST/VAT equivalents, property tax, and other state/local
filings as applicable). Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual
indirect tax reporting, including data gathering, reconciliations,
rate validation, and documentation. Support indirect tax audits by
pulling data, preparing schedules, drafting responses, and
maintaining organized audit files. Conduct taxability research for
products, services, and new business activities. Partner with
cross-functional teams to validate transactional data, review
invoices, and support system accuracy for tax calculations.
Contribute to process improvements, controls, and workflow
enhancements to increase accuracy and efficiency. Track legislative
changes and help assess the business impact of evolving indirect
tax requirements. Assist with special projects in corporate tax,
including technology updates, exemption certificate management, and
process documentation. Required Qualifications At least one year of
hands-on experience in indirect tax (sales & excise or comparable).
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related
field. Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and
proficiency working with large datasets. Solid Excel skills and
willingness to learn tax software, ERP systems, and reporting
tools. Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate
with multiple internal teams. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to
multi-state filings or working in a corporate shared-services
environment. Interest in broader corporate tax areas such as income
tax, property tax, or compliance automation. What's in It for You
