Responsibilities Initiate and manage the mortgage loan application process from start to finish. Assess clients' financial situations and advise them on appropriate loan products. Educate clients about different mortgage options and rates available. Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents and other professionals in the industry. Review and analyze loan applications, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. Prepare and present loan proposals to clients and communicate necessary documentation. Stay updated on mortgage lending trends, products, and regulatory changes. Requirements Proven experience as a mortgage loan officer or in a similar role within the financial services industry. Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and market trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and partners. Ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness of applicants. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple loans and clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with mortgage software and loan processing systems. A valid mortgage loan originator license is required.
