Job Description Position Summary The Senior Binding Authority
Underwriting Associate will evaluate complex risks to ensure proper
risk selection, pricing and terms for policies generated in
assigned territory. This position will work independently within
the established strategy and delegated authority to generate a
profitable portfolio. The Binding Authority Underwriter Associate
has responsibilities for marketing activities to generate new

Responsibilities:/n•/tPerforms a combination of duties in
accordance with departmental guidelines./n•/tAnalyzes quality,
quantity, and profitability of highly complex risks underwritten;
prepares and presents reports to management./n•/tReview submission
information with the underwriter including analysis of account
information./n•/tCoordinate the quoting, binding, and issuance
process./n•/tResearch and apply appropriate rates, coverages, and
policy forms./n•/tIssue notices of cancellation, nonrenewal
notices, or reinstatements./n•/tDevelop and maintain superior
relationships with underwriters, producers, brokers, and
reinsurers./n•/tMaintain accurate file documentation in accordance
with company guidelines./n•/tDevelops and maintains agency and/or
broker relationships with large producers within the assigned
territory to reach positive and profitable outcomes on complex,
high-risk business./n•/tResponsible for special underwriting
projects and other duties as assigned. /nWork Experience and
Education:/n•/tBachelor's degree in Risk Management/n•/t2 year
related experience or in a similar role. /n•/tAdvanced analytical
and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and
prioritize multiple projects./n•/tAdvanced technical expertise,
underwriting skill, and high level of knowledge of insurance and
underwriting principles, practices and procedures. Ryan Specialty

salary range for this position is $68,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually.
The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as
training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and
certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is
subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time
