Industry-leading overtime program with a lucrative rate structure Comprehensive benefits package for employees and families, including dental, vision, disability insurance, and medical insurance as low as $1 per week Retirement and savings programs with company match (401k and health savings account) Eligibility for annual performance and pay reviews Eligibility for various bonus/incentive programs Investment in employees through technical training, leadership training, and career tracks Tuition reimbursement program Job Details Duties: Installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of protective relay equipment, powerline carrier equipment, digital fault recorders (DFRs), remote terminal units (RTUs), and communication processors Functional testing for protection and control circuitry associated with transmission lines, HV bus, transformer, circuit breaker, feeder, reactors, and capacitor banks RTU and telecom upgrades for various clients Experience with SEL microprocessor relays such as 311C, 311L, 387, 411L, 421, 487B, 487E, 487V, 587, 587Z, and 787 Desired experience with GE microprocessor relays such as C30, D60, F35, L90, T35, and T60 Required experience with various RTUs and communication processors such as GE, Telvent, SEL, Cooper, and Novatech Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technology in a similar discipline, or Technical school diploma, or military experience in either Army Prime Power or Navy Nuclear electrical program Ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in the electrical testing industry with a focus on working with protection and control equipment, RTUs, and telecom with HV utility, co-op, power generation, federal, or municipal clients Experience with transmission and distribution relays including SEL, GE, ABB, and Westinghouse Experience with substation RTUs, communication processors, and telecom equipment for both brownfield and greenfield projects Experience with scoping, scheduling, and budgeting processes for protection and control, RTU, and telecom projects for both internal and external entities Interested in hearing more?
