SRT is seeking an experienced Engine Technical Manager to lead the technical definition, development, and validation of the fuel system and its components across all SRT products. This role partners with the Propulsion Systems HVAC & Engine Systems, SRT Vehicle Performance, and SRT Controls & Calibration System Integration teams to deliver highly capable performance vehicles. The Technical Manager will be responsible for: Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Project Oversight : Oversee the design, development, and implementation of SRT Engines & Adaptation, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and performance standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and project timelines, ensuring seamless integration and execution. Technical Guidance: Conduct regular project reviews, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support to the engineering team. Communication: Understand and follow departments business model, strategic direction, purpose, and mission and continually communicate that to direct reports. Strategic Planning: Work with Director to participate in departments resource planning, goal setting and road map or engineering footprint creation. Technical Specification : Assist engineers in generating detailed system and sub-system technical specifications (SSTS/TTS) to ensure functional objectives are met. Problem Solving: Assist the team in identifying the root cause of the issue and collaborative problem-solving. Work closely with suppliers to develop and implement effective technical solutions, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to project timelines. Total Warranty Cost Reduction and value optimization : Collaborate with teams to identify areas of improvement to reduce total warranty cost and propose technical solutions. DFSS: Lead initiatives to integrate DFSS principles into project workflows, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the engineering team. Maintain and track progress of the DFSS candidates within the department. Innovation & Trends: Stay updated with new technologies, market trends to drive innovation.
