Overview: LPN – Licensed Practical Nurse- Assisted Living Memory
Support Full-Time: 3-12 hour shifts a week with a rotating every
other weekend Mount Alverna Village-Parma, OH Mount Alverna
Village, part of Franciscan Ministries, is a vibrant senior living
community located in Parma, Ohio. We are a continuing care
retirement community (CCRC), offering a variety of senior lifestyle
options including independent living, memory support assisted
living, and skilled nursing/ long-term care. Additionally, the
onsite rehabilitation clinic offers inpatient and outpatient
physical, occupational, and speech therapies, and state-of-the-art
programs designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and
patients in the local community. We are currently looking for an
LPN to join our team! Position Summary In this role, you will be
responsible for providing direct nursing care for residents as well
as general consultation regarding health-related concerns within
the community. Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents. Supervise and coordinate
the activities performed by the Nursing Assistants to ensure high
degree of quality care is maintained. Responsible for admission,
transfer and discharge of residents. Keep physician and or other
health care professionals informed of change in resident
conditions. Respond quickly to all emergencies. Perform other
duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and procedures and any
updates. Position Requirements Education : Associate’s or
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Licenses/Certifications: active
Licensed Practical Nurse license that permits practice in the state
the associate is hired to work in Experience : 1 years of Nursing
experience Skills & Abilities: Ability to demonstrate compassion
