DextroMedical is seeking a travel Med Surg / Telemetry Charge Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline:RN - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, nights - Employment Type:Travel Required Qualifications: Licensure: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing Must have a degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg Tele experience Charge RN experience required Epic and phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months Completion bonus Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local Charge Nurse Responsibilities: Maintains a patient assignment Conducts Pyxis and crash cart checks Assigns admissions Liaison to supervisor Manages breaks and meals Prepares assignments for next shift based on patient care needs Scheduling & Float Requirements: Float Required (based on census and staffing) Solid black scrubs required No block scheduling allowed DextroMedical Job ID SUM-2532. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
