Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/14/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Overview We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our CT department at a Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Accredited facility. The candidate will work in a dynamic environment, serving a diverse community with emergent inpatient needs. Position Details Position/Specialty: CT Technologist Reports to: CT Supervisor and Radiology Manager Shift: 3 days (12-hour shifts), 7:30 AM–6:00 PM Every 3rd weekend rotation (Friday/Saturday), 3:30 PM–2:00 AM On-Call Requirement: One 24-hour call shift (Saturday or Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:00 AM) every 6 weeks Must be available within 1 hour of call Floating: No floating between service lines or to sister facilities Responsibilities Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion Operate CT equipment efficiently to produce high-quality imaging Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort Maintain accurate patient records and comply with regulatory standards Participate in on-call rotation for emergent situations Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum 1 year as a CT Technologist Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) ARRT (CT) AART Advanced certification preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or completion of a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification by end of rotation State License: Active South Carolina license required at start (pending licenses not accepted) Radiation Badge: Required, provided by agency (facility does not supply badges) Skills: Proficiency in starting IVs, administering contrast, performing biopsies, and using PACS system Work Setting Inpatient Operating Room Emergency Room (ER) Level I Trauma Center Community Hospital Adult ICU Miscellaneous Block Schedule: May be accommodated with prior approval, not guaranteed Local Candidates: Accepted (within 60 miles) on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: All requested time off must be submitted with application; approval based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type: Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Accredited, Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 286 Scrub Color: Teal top, black bottom Charting: Epic preferred Parking Cost: Free About iDEAL Hire iDeal Travel Staffing is dedicated to working with the best of the best in travel healthcare.
