Pay Information $2,662 per week About The Position Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 0600-1430 or 0600-1630 Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of one year of prior operating room cardiac experience in a hospital setting License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Cardiac scrub experience - Experience with CABG, valves, LIMA/RIMA, atrial appendage clipping, lead extractions - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Flexibility with schedules including 5-8's, 4-10's, and 3-12's with a 6 am start time Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Ability to effectively communicate with patients and families.
