with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Cleveland, Ohio,
44195! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift:
12 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience
in specialty prior to travel. License: Permanent Ohio license or
compact state license required. Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS,
and NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: Must have 18 months
of recent Cardiac Step Down experience. Preferred: PCU/Progressive
care experience is preferred but not required. Traveler must work
at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and
safeMedicate assessments must be passed during orientation. An
acceptable score on both assessments is required. Candidates must
have a reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty
applying for. Required certifications need to be active with
nothing pending. Background checks will be conducted, and
candidates with any open cases or license hits will not be
accepted. A negative drug screen is required within the last 12
months. Description: This position involves working in a step down
unit. Shifts will alternate between nights and days as needed to
meet operational needs. The facility will do its best to honor
travelers' preferred shifts but reserves the right to rotate if
necessary. Candidates must be able to manage a patient load typical
for a step down unit. Nurses will provide care to patients
recovering from cardiac surgery or critical illness.
Interdisciplinary collaboration is expected for optimal patient
care. Candidates should be proficient in ECG interpretation and
medication administration. Continuous assessment and adjustment of
care plans based on patient needs are required. A commitment to
