What You’ll Do as a Vascular and Echo Ultrasound Technologist In this role, you’re not just capturing images—you’re giving patients answers and providers the insights they need to make life-saving decisions. Here’s what you’ll tackle every day: Gather Patient Insights: Collect and document information to ensure imaging aligns with each patient’s unique needs. Deliver Precision Imaging: Conduct General and Vascular Ultrasound exams using your expertise and sound judgment. Operate with Skill: Proficiently use ultrasound equipment to capture clear, high-quality images. Ensure Safety: Determine the appropriate use of shielding devices and maintain patient safety at all times. Monitor Patient Comfort: Keep a close eye on patients’ physical and emotional well-being during procedures. Review and Perfect: Evaluate images for technical quality and capture additional views when needed. Maintain Equipment Excellence: Perform and document quality assurance checks to keep systems running at their best. What We’re Looking For We’re searching for someone who: Has graduated from an accredited Medical Sonography program. Brings at least 2 years of experience as a General Ultrasound Tech or certified Echo/Vascular Ultrasound Technologist. Is willing to travel across all Metro Detroit locations to serve our patients. Can handle physical demands like lifting, standing, bending, and moving patients and equipment. Thrives on challenges and views every mistake as a chance to learn and grow.
