themselves to join TruCut' s productions supervision team as a
Production -Shift Supervisor. We need someone on the first shift,
which is Monday - Thursday (6AM - 4:30PM with overtime worked as
needed on Fridays and Saturdays. Types of things you'll be
doing. You'll be working hard on the production floor learning our
manufacturing processes and working hand in hand with our many
talented team members. It cannot be emphasized enough that this is
a position that will require you to be on the floor. This is not a
position for someone that wants to remain in the office and learn
from a computer. As a shift supervisor, you'll be responsible for
building strong relationships with our production team members
while learning how we operate and the many different steps that go
into our manufacturing process. We are known for our ability to
adapt to our client demands while manufacturing quality parts and
shipping those parts on time. Of course, you'll be supported by
TruCut' s Quality, Purchasing and Engineering teams. You'll also
need to partner with Production scheduling to understand how we
operate and what jobs are scheduled to be run. You will be active
within our Safety teams and be expected to provide sound leadership
when it comes to safety and hazard recognition. Although
accountants can be dry, stuffy and tell bad jokes, you'll also have
to coordinate with them at least once a year to conduct a physical
inventory. We strive to teach all employees to think like a business
owner, so you'll need to utilize technical analysis and business
acumen to make well-informed decisions impacting daily duties.Types
of things you won't be doingDon't count on being a desk jockey all
day. While many of your duties will involve using ERP system,
you'll need to learn, understand, and interact with our products,
people, and processes. This position requires the person to be very
proactive in their duties by developing solutions to potential
issues before they occur. We encourage everyone to show initiative
and act. If a mistake is made, fix it. How we define success in
this roll. You should take pride in "getting the job done." It is
easily noticed when someone has a modus operandi of action with
results. This applies not only to tasks at hand but also to your
production team. You'll be successful if you work well
cross-functionally, enabling the whole team to achieve exceptional
outcomes. Attitude is everything. Nothing will cause you to fail in
this role faster than a poor attitude. As a supervisor, you must
act with empathy, integrity, and accountability. What we'd like from
you. This is not for beginners (we have other positions for those!).
Ideally, we'd prefer that you have a bachelor's degree in business
or management with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in a
supervisory role within a heavy manufacturing environment. No
degree? We will be looking for at least ten years of experience
combined with real world experience works fine, too. Also, be
prepared to explain the theory or doctrine that you subscribe to,
as it relates to production supervision and what you have done that
has led to your previous success. What you'll get in return. If you
are the person that ultimately ends up filling this position, then
we'll compensate you with a competitive compensation structure. We
also provide a full suite of medical, dental, and vision
insurances. Several supplemental policies are available as well.
You can participate in our 401k with up to a 4% match. We also
offer a gainsharing program where you can earn up to a 13% bonus if
the company achieves its annual financial goals. You'll
automatically get a $25,000 company-funded life insurance policy as
well. We pay for you to stay home on 8 holidays (9 if you're a
veteran) and have paid time off as well. Should you decide you want
to continue your education, and it is in a discipline that would
benefit the company then we also have a tuition reimbursement
program. In addition to all of that we also offer a very safe,
clean, and stable work environment. We're growing and you'll have
the opportunity to grow with us. We are not a public company, and
ownership is involved with the day-to-day operations so bureaucracy
is thin, and you will be recognized for your achievements.Who are
your coworkers? We're down-to-earth people. We work hard to the best
of our abilities and try to learn new things when that isn't
enough. You count on your peers as much as they count on you to
make sure a job gets done. We don't hide from a challenge or dodge
responsibilities. Those that do, don't last long. We make mistakes
just like you will and when we recognize them, we own it, fix it
and move on. Pontificators, blowhards, and showboats don't do well
in this organization. When not at work most of our coworkers have
families and enjoy a diverse spectrum of hobbies. You'll find
musicians, hunters, travelers, avid DIYers, coaches, civil
servants, gamers, artists, home brewers, board game sharks,
dancers, and more.Does this sound like it could be a fit for you?
If so, we'd welcome your resume along with anything else that you
think would be beneficial for the hiring manager to
know.Requirements:PIa449080926e2-25660-35942147
