Job Description:
IT Specialist/Technical Writer (CTV Media, Inc., Powell, OH):
Work with third-party, software development partners to develop the
documentation for CTV Media proprietary dashboards/apps in process;
Decipher the details of the software, develop the documentation,
and communicate the steps of use to both CTV’s staff and external
clients; Work directly with CEO to discuss the formation of the
software; Test results and communicate any bugs or errors to
software developers; Control budget restrictions throughout the
development process; Proofread and edit software comments for
future-proofing; Create e-learning training materials for CTV Media
software and applications, including illustrations, photo
retouching, and screen recordings; and Create a comprehensive style
guide for the documentation and training materials based on CTV
Media software, application, and existing marketing materials. The
following skills and experience are required to complete the
above-mentioned tasks: Experience with: DITA XML, XSLT,
version-control systems; content delivery systems; Ability to read
and understand JavaScript source code; Experience creating/updating
illustrations, photos, and screen recordings; High-level knowledge
of Oxygen Author/Editor and Microsoft Visio; Experience with
software development life cycle (SDLC); Experience with the
following E-learning training materials: Camtasia, Microsoft
PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; Demonstrated
experience translating technical information into clear, readable
documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel; and
Experience with multi regional organization collaboration. Requires
a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Communication, English
or related field, and at least five years of experience as a
Technical Writer, E-Learning Content Creator or related occupation.
In the alternative, no degree and at least seven years of
experience in the above-mentioned occupation is required. Salary:
