Hogan1 is seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join our leading firm specializing in innovative transportation solutions. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our logistics services, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods across various routes. Operate a tractor-trailer or heavy truck to transport goods, supplies, or materials over intercity or interstate routes. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, collecting and verifying delivery instructions from appropriate sources. Report defects, accidents, or violations, and ensure all necessary reporting is completed on time. Handle documentation related to cargo, routing, and delivery, maintaining accurate logs of working hours and vehicle status. Proven work experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).
