Job Description Job Title: Part time Psychiatrist Location: Chillicothe OH 45601 Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (M-F) Hours/week: 16 hours/week Duration: 6 months to Long term Job description: • Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system • Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing • Managing medication • Making referrals for specialized care or treatment • Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards • Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews • Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed Requirement: • Ohio Medical License • Drug Enforcement Administration certification. • Healthcare-professional level BLS/CPR certification • Copy of Board Certification
