Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is
for a dedicated social worker to provide support and counseling
services within a school setting in Athens, GA. This contract
position involves working directly with students to address their
social, emotional, and behavioral needs, fostering a positive
school environment that promotes academic success and personal
growth. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individual and group
counseling sessions to students Collaborate with teachers,
administrators, and families to support student well-being Develop
and implement intervention plans for at-risk students Provide
crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed Maintain
accurate and confidential student records Participate in student
support team meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Georgia School
Counselor endorsement or license is required Experience working as
a social worker in a school setting preferred Strong understanding
of student developmental and behavioral issues Excellent
communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to
work onsite full-time, maintaining confidentiality and
professionalism Commitment to supporting diverse student
populations and fostering inclusivity Location: Onsite position in
