Accountant About the Role and Our Client: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join a small but growing company in Downtown Cleveland, OH. In this role, you will support the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions. This role is perfect for someone looking to develop their accounting skillset. Key Responsibilities: Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Assist in the preparation of journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts. Prepare and maintain various financial reports. Fixed Asset Accounting Assist with payroll processing and support payroll-related tasks. Help manage cash flow and assist with financial forecasting. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure financial accuracy. Qualifications: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or relevant experience. Previous experience in an accounting or administrative role is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (experience with QuickBooks is a plus). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Location & Compensation: On-site position in Downtown Cleveland, OH. Salary is $60,000 to $70,000 based on experience.
